Prefect Thierry Devimeux expressed his concern about the increase in acts of violence in Guadeloupe. He reminded that freedom of movement is a fundamental right that the State must protect. Devimeux also praised the commitment of law enforcement and strongly condemned the clashes, while sending his thoughts to the injured police officers.
