Young Guadeloupean surfer Max Mathieu achieved a remarkable feat at the French Championships in Estagnots. In just twenty minutes, he won the silver medal in U18 longboard and was crowned U16 French champion. His performance was highlighted by a wave scored 9 out of 10, allowing him to stand out in the final. Guadeloupe now has a total of three medals in this competition.
