The Regional Chamber of Accounts has officially announced Pointe-à-Pitre's exit from its recovery plan, after more than ten years of financial difficulties. The municipality, which had a cumulative deficit of 77 million euros in 2018, now presents a surplus of 7.28 million euros for 2025. This improvement is the result of collective efforts and support from the State, according to Mayor Harry Durimel.
