The 8th edition of the Rally of the Sun Islands has begun with the departure from the Canary Islands. The 21 boats, including the multihull Takamaka, are sailing to Cape Verde before continuing to Marie-Galante. The first sailors are expected to arrive between November 23 and 27. The organizers emphasize that Marie-Galante provides an ideal setting to welcome sailors and promote the discovery of the Guadeloupe archipelago.
