Antoinette Brochant, 86 years old, was found dead on the Pointe à Bacchus trail in Petit-Bourg after disappearing since September 29. Intensive searches had been carried out, involving gendarmes and drones, without success until the discovery of her body on October 4. The circumstances of her death remain unclear, as the gendarmerie continues its investigation.
