On Saturday, October 31, about thirty participants took part in the Torchlight Procession in Saint-Denis, organized by the Sonjé association. This event, held annually on All Saints' Day, pays tribute to the victims of slavery. Lanterns were hung on a dedicated stele, symbolizing collective memory. The organizers emphasize the importance of this tribute in light of the contemporary resonances of colonial history.
