The Embassy of Taiwan marked its 115th National Day in Port-au-Prince on October 9, 2026. The reception was held at the Montana Hotel, bringing together government members, former officials, as well as private sector and civil society actors. Ambassador Cheng-Hao Hu emphasized the symbolic importance of this event for the Taiwanese community present in Haiti.
