The Social Development Commission (SDC) is implementing asset mapping to promote community development in Jamaica. These maps, created with the help of residents, catalog essential infrastructure and resources in 775 communities. They help assess the impacts of natural disasters and inform government interventions, particularly in the area of public safety.
