Michael Carrick is nearing a departure from Manchester United after a 2-0 defeat to Chelsea in the Premier League. Despite a few chances in the first half, his team collapsed in the second half, conceding a goal and receiving a red card for Lisandro Martinez. This latest defeat, the ninth in a row, leaves the Red Devils just above the relegation zone, increasing the pressure on Carrick ahead of a crucial Champions League match.
