Between April and June, excessive speed was identified as the main cause of fatal accidents in Jamaica, accounting for 24% of road deaths. The island's Traffic Authority emphasized the importance of vigilance for all road users. With 75 fatal accidents and 83 deaths during this period, awareness initiatives and collaboration are being promoted to encourage safer behaviors on the roads.
