For more than two weeks, access to Facebook and TikTok has been cut off in Equatorial Guinea following the release of a video accusing the vice president of corruption. This Central African country, ruled by an authoritarian regime, has restricted internet access since early September. Other Meta platforms like WhatsApp and Instagram are partially operational. The young woman who posted the video has been arrested by the authorities.
