The Jamaican government has approved an ambitious project to rebuild and modernize four hospitals, aimed at strengthening the healthcare infrastructure. During a press conference, the Minister of Health specified that these facilities, adhering to the standards of the Pan American Health Organization, will offer increased capacity and better resilience against disasters. Work is ongoing to finalize the locations of the new structures.
