The Jamaica Library Service has inaugurated the Seed Library Jamaica, a network of seed banks in its public libraries. This project aims to promote local food production by allowing citizens to access a variety of seeds. The libraries will serve as community centers for education on sustainable agriculture, while encouraging seed sharing and resilience in the face of food challenges.
