Thirty students received a share of the 15 million dollars allocated for their higher education through the Hoilett/Lambert scholarship from the Jamaica Bauxite Institute. The award ceremony took place in Kingston. This program supports students from bauxite-producing parishes. Each recipient receives 500,000 dollars and must complete 30 hours of community service. The initiative aims to strengthen education and development in rural communities.
