The Jamaica Library and Information Association has inaugurated the Jamaica Seed Library, a project aimed at supporting national food production. This online platform allows users to access a variety of local seeds through the network of public libraries. The initiative, which targets various community groups, aims to promote sustainable agriculture and enhance biodiversity. Partnerships with ministries and local businesses are also being established to enrich the seed collection.
