On Monday, 30 members of the Jamaica Defence Force began repair work at Merl Grove High School to improve the infrastructure ahead of the school year. The principal, Dr. Marjorie Fullerton, requested their assistance after noticing significant degradation of the facilities. Although the Ministry of Education has started repairs, the pace of work does not satisfy the administration. The JDF is also addressing accessibility for students, including the installation of a new ramp.
