Work on the national recovery strategy following Hurricane Melissa is progressing well, according to the Deputy Director of Sustainable Development. In collaboration with international partners, several guiding principles have been established, including spatial planning to avoid exacerbating existing vulnerabilities. Risk management plans have also been developed, based on climate data, to guide future infrastructure investments.
