Starting September 1st, charities in Jamaica will be able to register and renew their status online thanks to a new digital system. This initiative, launched by the Ministry of Industry, aims to facilitate access to services for organizations, including those from the diaspora. The minister emphasized that this transition strengthens oversight of the charitable sector and modernizes public services. Offices will remain open to assist during this transition period.
