Six foreigners, including Brazilians and a Chinese national, were apprehended in Guyana for conducting mining operations without authorization. Authorities discovered that they were carrying out underground work through an unapproved well. Currently in police custody, these individuals are under investigation. The Ministry of Natural Resources reminds that all mining activities must comply with current legislation, under penalty of sanctions.
