The Early Childhood Commission (ECC) is committed to improving early childhood programs during the 2026/27 academic year. Chairperson Trisha Williams-Singh highlighted the importance of the national Zero to Three strategy, which focuses on the first 1,000 days of life. Free day centers, called Brain Builder Centres, are also in place to provide adequate stimulation. A new revised curriculum will be implemented, with an emphasis on boys' education and STEAM subjects.
