A child of about one year was hospitalized following a drowning incident that occurred at Anse Figuier, in Rivière-Pilote. Firefighters intervened after the child, unconscious but breathing, was pulled from the water. He received first aid on site before being evacuated by helicopter to the CHU de Martinique for medical care. Details about his condition and the circumstances of the incident remain unknown.
