On Wednesday evening, a road accident claimed the life of a 26-year-old motorcyclist on the RN1, between Le Marigot and Le Lorrain. Despite the efforts of emergency services, the young man did not survive his injuries. The driver of the car involved, a 50-year-old man, was seriously injured and airlifted. The accident caused significant traffic jams and an investigation has been opened to determine the circumstances of the collision.
