In response to a rise in urban violence, the prefect of Martinique has imposed a curfew in five municipalities. This measure, which will be in effect from 10 PM to 5 AM for two nights, concerns Fort-de-France, Saint-Joseph, Ducos, Schœlcher, and Le Robert. The authorities hope to restore security in these areas affected by recent incidents.
