The Minister of Overseas Territories has signed an order recognizing the agricultural disaster due to the drought that occurred between June and August 2026. A compensation fund for crop losses will open on November 16, targeting various agricultural sectors. Meanwhile, access to the agricultural rearmament fund has been extended until November 15 to support affected farmers.
