The city of New York has announced a one-year moratorium on the use of artificial intelligence in public schools for students from kindergarten to third grade. This decision, confirmed by the mayor, aims to protect the development of young children. Starting from high school, AI will only be allowed in certain classes and with modules on critical thinking. Teachers will still be able to use AI for their preparations.
