In response to a marked decline in births, the Tobago House of Assembly has implemented a support of 500 dollars per month for parents of children born from 2026. This program aims to encourage births while providing financial assistance to families. Applications are made through a new ID portal, and additional measures, such as boxes for newborns, are also offered to support young parents.
