The electrical network in Mayotte is being consolidated, with 1,661 projects completed out of a total of 4,200 planned. The work is mainly focused in the Centre and Grand Mamoudzou, while the South and Petite-Terre are lagging behind. Ten companies are collaborating with Électricité de Mayotte to replace damaged infrastructure. An investment of 192 million euros is planned to modernize the network and make it more resilient to cyclones.
