Eight firefighters from Nouméa recently completed training to join the hazardous intervention group. This group, which now has 23 members, is trained for interventions in challenging locations, such as wind turbines or mountains. Meanwhile, the firefighters are preparing for the wildfire season, with ongoing brush clearing work to secure strategic access points.
