Starting September 1, 2026, electronic invoicing will become mandatory for companies in Réunion. This change requires businesses to receive invoices in digital format, while from 2027, they will also have to issue them. The Chamber of Trades highlights the adaptation difficulties, especially for small businesses that are not very familiar with digital technology, and offers support to facilitate this transition.
