This year, French Guiana recorded an impressive number of sea turtle nests, particularly from the olive ridley turtle. The Kwata association has intensified its awareness efforts, reaching over 5,500 people, including students. At the same time, actions to protect the nests have been carried out, with the release of young turtles. The diversity of species observed highlights the importance of preserving these unique natural sites.
