In 1995, a series of troubling events shook Puerto Rico. Farm animals, such as chickens and sheep, were found dead, often without a drop of blood. These strange discoveries gave rise to the legend of an unknown creature, the Chupacabras. Other myths, such as those of the Vampiro de Moca and the Gárgola, also fuel the collective imagination of the island.
