Genesis Alfred, environmental activist from Saint Lucia, has been appointed as the Caribbean representative on the IRENA Youth Council for the 2026-2028 term. At 27, she aims to promote youth engagement in renewable energy and amplify Caribbean perspectives in global discussions on the energy transition. Currently leading a regional project, she is working towards climate justice and sustainable solutions.
