An Inquiry Commission, led by retired judge Mario Michel, has been established to examine the maritime collision that occurred on July 18 at Anse Cochon, resulting in several deaths and injuries. Composed of four members, it will look into the circumstances of the accident and the applicable maritime laws. The work will begin on September 8 and conclude in March 2027, with recommendations aimed at improving maritime safety.
