Luc Chevrier, the Saint Lucian sailor, made history by winning a race at the ILCA 7 World Championships in Dún Laoghaire, Ireland. This success is the first for a Saint Lucian at this level, following his silver medal at the Central American and Caribbean Games. At 27 years old, Chevrier, already qualified for the 2027 Pan American Games, finished his qualification series with strong performances, standing out as the best competitor from the Caribbean.
