Members of the calypso, soca, and Dennery communities in Saint Lucia gathered to establish a legally recognized group to represent artists and professionals in the music industry. During a meeting in Castries, they agreed on the importance of a collective voice to advocate for their interests. A five-member committee was formed to revise the group's constitution, which also includes plans for a calypso exhibition scheduled for 2026.
