Brazil's National Data Protection Agency (ANPD) has imposed a fine of nearly $30 million on TikTok for irregularities in the processing of children's and adolescents' data. The agency also ordered ByteDance, TikTok's parent company, to delete illegally collected data and implement a compliance plan. This decision follows the suspension of Discord over safety concerns regarding minors.
