The government of Antigua and Barbuda is committed to strengthening the role of the creative sectors, such as music and film, in the national economy. A White Paper project and a roadmap are being developed to structure this area. Similar initiatives in the Caribbean have been examined, and links with tourism are being considered to attract international artists. The goal is to diversify the economy and create jobs, especially for young people.
