Social workers in Antigua and Barbuda are facing increasing threats as they strive to protect children who are victims of abuse. During a national meeting on child protection, it was revealed that 287 cases of abuse have been reported this year. Agents, exhausted and seeking psychological support, sometimes have to change vehicles to ensure the safety of the children. The situation is deemed critical by the authorities.
