King Charles III will make his first official visit to the Bahamas in October, as part of a Caribbean tour that also includes Antigua and Barbuda as well as Guyana. This trip precedes the Commonwealth Heads of Government Summit scheduled for November. The king, accompanied by Queen Camilla, had expressed his desire to visit the country after missing the celebrations for its 50th anniversary of independence.
