The Bahamas Hotel and Tourism Association has appointed Robert Sands as interim president. This decision follows the appointment of Jackson Weech as the director general of tourism. Sands, a former president of the association, will hold this position until the elections scheduled for December 2026. He expressed pride in the work done by Weech and emphasized the importance of close collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism.
