Alexis Lashley triumphed in the junior girls' road race at the Caribbean Road Cycling Championships in Belize, thus securing her second title. She clocked a time of two hours, eight minutes and 43 seconds. Her teammate from Barbados, Jenais Johnson, took the silver medal. The Barbados team also shone in the youth category with two other medals. The team's return is scheduled for Tuesday.
