Michael Alphonsa Harris publicly apologized after being convicted of assault and threats against Senator Lisa Cummins. During his trial, he was fined 1,500 dollars, to be paid by December 6, under penalty of one month in prison. In addition, he was placed on bail for three months. Harris, a first-time offender, spent the night in jail and expresses his wish to never experience such a situation again.
