At the Commonwealth Heads of Government Summit in Antigua and Barbuda, the Barbadian delegation, led by Shawn Burke, presented a symbolic racket to the president of the Commonwealth Sports Movement, Dr. Donald Rukare. This event, which took place before a forum, brought together road tennis players from Barbados. Dr. Rukare praised the island's efforts to promote this sport on a global level. The demonstration will continue in several communities in Antigua.
