A tornado hit the town of Pomas in the Corbières region, causing injuries and damaging at least 300 homes. Emergency services, consisting of 75 firefighters and experts, worked throughout the night to assess the damage. Streets are littered with debris, while several access points to the town are blocked. Approximately 1,400 households are without electricity in the region.
