Kazakhstan has reached an agreement to refine oil intended for Russia and its own market. Up to 30% of refined products, such as gasoline and diesel, will be reserved for local consumption, while the rest will be shipped to Russia. Oil deliveries will begin soon by train, given the lack of pipeline connection. The Condensate refinery, operational since 1998, produces about 850,000 tons of fuel per year.
