The start of the 2026-2027 academic year at the University of Isla de la Juventud took place in a symbolic setting, at 15 de Mayo Park. New students were welcomed by the authorities and the faculty. For the first time, a training program in Social Work was introduced, and a new college of medical sciences opened its doors. At the same time, the School of Sports adapted its program in response to logistical challenges.
