In 2025, beer production in the European Union experienced a slight decrease. The majority of this production, amounting to 32.3 billion liters, contained more than 0.5% alcohol. Germany remains the top producer with 7.4 billion liters, followed by Spain and Poland. The Netherlands and France complete the top five producing countries within the European bloc.
