Matthew Brennan, 21, has claimed his third victory at La Vuelta, thanks to an excellent relay from his teammate Wout van Aert. The win came down to a tight sprint against the Frenchman Bryan Coquard. The day was marked by breakaway attempts and tough climbs, but Brennan proved his talent against more experienced riders. Enric Mas retains the red jersey ahead of the next mountain stage.
