A new legislative initiative aims to penalize the use of bot networks during election periods in Chile. Following the scandal involving an Argentine consultant, measures are proposed to protect democracy. Penalties could reach up to five years in prison and fines. This project highlights the importance of combating misinformation and attacks on the dignity of candidates.
