More than 150 soldiers, accompanied by air support, are participating in the fight against the fires that have been ravaging several municipalities for a month. Currently, six active hotspots are reported in the region, where troops from the Sixth Brigade are collaborating with the Air Force and local Police. Authorities are warning of an increased risk of fires in several departments of the country.
